Durable: Made from single layer polyethylene, a material which is  much stronger than conventional fibreglass and multi-layer polyethylene.

Design: The oppi is based on a tried and tested junior boat .  However, it has been modified to make it a little bigger giving enough space for more than one child while taking advantage of the latest materials.  It even doubles as a tender!

Safety:  The Oppi has full internal buoyancy and there are no sharp edges making it very user friendly.

The Oppi uses high quality fittings from the world's largest Optimist supplier; .

  The sail, spars, rudder and daggerboard are simple to use and easy to rig.

 Extra features: The Oppi incorporates drain ports on the transom making it easy for kids to hose out and clean after use, these also function as self bailers when the Oppi is sailed at pace.  A large bung designed in the daggerboard box helps prevent damage to the boat in the event of grounding.
